LPU member LPfreak99 points out that there's been an update to LP.com However small a detail, the crane that's been on the upper half of the page for months now moves.
Yeah, I know this is hardly news worthy. Any update to LP.com is significant though, especially so close to some of the rumored album release dates.
LP Gets 'Kerrang'd'
An article appeared the other day in Kerrang magazine featuring the band. It had an in-depth interview with Chester and Phoenix that you won't want to miss. Chester says he's played some of the tracks for his friends, and they said the album is basically finished, so hopefully we'll have some big news soon.

With about half of the globe already in 2007, LPFuse would like to wish everyone a very Happy New Year.
Here's looking forward to the new LP album and a full tour, as we can finally say there'll be activity from the band this year.
Happy holidays, best wishes and an early Happy New Year from the entire LPFuse staff. Stay safe, have fun, and we hope you get everything you wanted!
Many thanks to all of the readers of LPFuse who make this one of the best LP fan sites around. And here's to the staff, especially Energy - without him, LP fans would have one less site to depend on.
QWERTY will remain on the live setlist
After we've heard a confirmation on Projekt Revolution 2007 as well as a European tour, an Asia/Australia tour and another big US tour, we now have had confirmation that the band will continue to play QWERTY live on their next few tours at least.
An interview that Rob gave to AOL states:
"Among the songs is 'Qwerty,' which Bourdon can't wait to play live again after debuting it this past summer. "It's probably the heaviest song we've ever written," he says. "And usually those songs tend to be the most fun to play in front of an audience."
With the album in the mixing process already, we can expect a tour sometime soon with the album dropping shortly afterwards.

Head on over to LPAssociation.com to check out their interview with LP's Dave 'Phoenix' Farrell.
In what could quite possibly be one of the first interviews ever granted to a Linkin Park fan site, Dave managed to provide the LPA and the fans with exciting new information regarding the new album, upcoming tours, LPTV, as well as answers to some of the more nagging questions that have been bugging fans over the last few months. This is certainly one of the more informative interviews Dave has done considering the new album and is definitely something that should not be missed by Phoenix lovers and die-hard Linkin Park fans alike!
Props to LPA for scoring such a great exclusive.Link

Los Angeles, CA (PRWeb) December 13, 2006 -- Little Kids Rock (LKR), a program providing free instruments and instruction for public school students, today announced that Linkin Park guitarist and Little Kids Rock Honorary Board member, Brad Delson, will be visiting Los Angeles' Nightingale Middle School. Chester did not sing with Korn on Saturday
Chester appeared to have just been a fan in the audience on Saturday, as he was not on the mic for any of the songs Korn performed.
Amy Lee of Evanescence and members of The Cure, who were also scheduled to join Korn, did and sang on several songs. Click more for the show setlist.
QWERTY won't be on the album
Rob talked about the new LPU CD and said QWERTY wouldn't make the album in a release to FMQB.com.
"Each year, Linkin Park releases a special CD, LP Underground, exclusively for its fan club members. This year, the latest edition, LPU6, will also be available in Best Buy stores, as well as online at the Web site LPUnderground.com. The six-track EP features two songs from the band's current studio session for their upcoming album and some unreleased live tracks. "Over the last year we have written so many new songs and really wanted to give some of the early ideas to our hardcore fans that will not be on the new album," said LP's Rob Bourdon. "Other tracks include a live version of an old track from back when our band was called XERO, and some special live tracks we played at the Japan shows this past August."
It's ok though, I'd rather have a new song than another version of QWERTY
Chester joining Korn for MTV Unplugged
LPBR says Korn will be doing an MTV Unplugged set on Saturday at the MTV Studios in Times Square, and Chester is joining them as as guest singer. It will air in February 07. Thanks to Ravok for the tip.
Wonder if they'll do a Snow White Tan song?
New videos of Chester and The Doors
Apparently someone backstage captured some video of Chester and The Doors together and put it up on YouTube. Check out these two good videos of this legendary event, with Chester on the mic. Joining them are Slash and Perry too.

Hey LP Fans,
The relationship we have with you has always been and still is very important to us. When we got to the point in our career when we couldn't hang out at the merch booth and speak with you guys one on one, we decided to create a fan club where hardcore Linkin Park fans could get unreleased music, autographs in person and other exclusive items and benefits. LP Underground has been around since 2001. This is the first year that we're making it available to the fans by selling it in Best Buy stores as well as online at LPUnderground.com. In addition to the package, we're going to continue meeting our fan club members at just about every show at LPU meet and greets. We also have a new mobile aspect to the club with ringtones, text alerts, and a special website with exclusive content. I think this year's LPU6 CD is the best one to date!
We look forward to sharing our full studio album with all new music with you next year, but in the meantime we wanted to give our fan club something exclusive. YOU guys make everything we do possible and in return, we will continue to make LPU the best fan club around.
