Chester appeared to have just been a fan in the audience on Saturday, as he was not on the mic for any of the songs Korn performed.

Amy Lee of Evanescence and members of The Cure, who were also scheduled to join Korn, did and sang on several songs. Click more for the show setlist.

QWERTY won't be on the album

Rob talked about the new LPU CD and said QWERTY wouldn't make the album in a release to FMQB.com.

"Each year, Linkin Park releases a special CD, LP Underground, exclusively for its fan club members. This year, the latest edition, LPU6, will also be available in Best Buy stores, as well as online at the Web site LPUnderground.com. The six-track EP features two songs from the band's current studio session for their upcoming album and some unreleased live tracks. "Over the last year we have written so many new songs and really wanted to give some of the early ideas to our hardcore fans that will not be on the new album," said LP's Rob Bourdon. "Other tracks include a live version of an old track from back when our band was called XERO, and some special live tracks we played at the Japan shows this past August."

It's ok though, I'd rather have a new song than another version of QWERTY

Hey LP Fans,
The relationship we have with you has always been and still is very important to us. When we got to the point in our career when we couldn't hang out at the merch booth and speak with you guys one on one, we decided to create a fan club where hardcore Linkin Park fans could get unreleased music, autographs in person and other exclusive items and benefits. LP Underground has been around since 2001. This is the first year that we're making it available to the fans by selling it in Best Buy stores as well as online at LPUnderground.com. In addition to the package, we're going to continue meeting our fan club members at just about every show at LPU meet and greets. We also have a new mobile aspect to the club with ringtones, text alerts, and a special website with exclusive content. I think this year's LPU6 CD is the best one to date!
We look forward to sharing our full studio album with all new music with you next year, but in the meantime we wanted to give our fan club something exclusive. YOU guys make everything we do possible and in return, we will continue to make LPU the best fan club around.

Thanks!
Myspace message.

We all know Chester performed with The Doors at The Whiskey in LA last month for their 40th Anniversary, but Q107 has released a video of clips from the night.

You can see Chester singing on 'Break on Through', which is actually one of my favorite Doors songs tongue

Thanks to Aaron of course.

"Someone who wishes to remain anonymous wrote in to say that she got a copy of Best Buy's flyer for next week that has info on the new Linkin Park Underground Package in it. Flyer reads as follows: LINKIN PARK LIMITED EDITION FAN PACK. Includes CD featuring new and unreleased Linkin Park studio and live recordings. Also contains T-shirt, Wristband, Letter from the band, 1-year fan club membership and more. Membership perks include meet-and-greet opportunities, presale tickets, exclusive ringtones, access to members-only website and more. This info is on page 14 of the December 3-9th edition of the Best Buy flyer."

Yeah, that's true too. Awesome, they confirmed we get studio tracks :)

Remember LPU 6.0 starts December 5th and you can sign up at lpunderground.com on that day.

Links to files will not be tolerated. People who post links are not welcome on this site. We've discussed this hundreds of times with FMM tracks. Our views are clear if you are not in the LPU then these tracks are not for you. We're sorry if you don't have the money to join, but it does not give you the right to steal the tracks.

I will start blacklisting any more people who post links or requests...

May 7th? - Don't believe it just yet...

Hey lptimes is talking about how the album may come out on May 7th. This is mainly because an Australian music company (Sanity) is stating this date. I'd say to take this with a huge pinch of salt. It is possible that they know something we don't, but it's unlikely. They may just have that date up because the think the album should of come out by then, this meaning that they can start taking preorders. Many company make dates up so that they can just start selling products.

If you believe this, then the Halo 3 faceplate for the xbox360 that is on sale in December is actually coming out Summer 2007 (according to Play.com a few weeks ago), a random example but it gets my point across. Don't take this date as confirmation!

I still reckon a March release, but it really is just a guessing game at the moment.

T______ and T______

Hmmm so lptimes has got this up:
Wes reports that there's a short article about Linkin Park in the December 2006 issue of Blender Magazine and Chester revealed that the next Linkin Park album will be called "T__and T__" (he only gave a hint). He also described that the house they are recording in (Rick Rubin's house) used to be home to gangster Benjamin "Bugsy" Siegel and it is where Harry Houdini's mistress lived. They also said that the album is due in February '07. I don't have a scan unfortunately, thanks Wes.

So what are your ideas? Trials and Tribulations?
Thanks Wes, Lptimes and Levit86

Holly on Irving Azoff's Front Line?

Holly Brook
Notice the words holly brook in this article... make of it what you will.

According to Hits Daily Double, veteran manager Andy Gould and partner Dan Dalton are rumored to be taking their Spectacle Entertainment Group under Irving Azoff's Front Line umbrella, with acts including ROB ZOMBIE, STATIC-X, JURASSIC 5, DAMIAN "JR. GONG" MARLEY, STEPHEN MARLEY, CHALI2NA, former SOMETHING CORPORATE guitarist William Tell, hot newcomer DRIVEBLIND and HOLLY BROOK. Gould and Dalton left The Firm in July 2005. Gould also has juice in the film world as producer of client Zombie's hit horror movies, the latest of which is the highly touted "reimagining" of the "Halloween" franchise, now in pre-production for The Weinstein Co. and Dimension Films.

Edit:
Holly just confirmed this for me, along with "Go ahead! Its pretty exciting, actually. I've been with Dan Dalton since he was at the FIRM, and I'll follow him wherever he goes."

Podcast - questions

Hey all - as it's so quiet it's pretty hard to make a podcast. Which sucks cause it seemed like you guys liked the first. It sucked when number 2 got canned.

However in this dry period I thought we'd have some fun, which may make its way as a smaller section of the podcast when things get a bit more exciting in the Msr world.

So basically, what I would love is this, if you guys have any questions about lp, fort minor, this site, the official sites, me, jon, our lp collections (may get nick in on that one) or anything else related I want you to email me with the question! (simon@lpfuse.co.uk) or put it in the comments. Jon and I will sit down and hopefully answer as many as we can fit in.

So yeah - you guys get to make the content for this next experimental podcast. Remember to include your name so we can credit you for your question. Heck if you've even got a fact that you want to tell other fans about send it our way. We'll see if we can find a prize for the best question/fact/whatever...

Hope you like this idea! :)

(p.s. we choose a holly brook winner, for a signed copy of her album, however we never sorted out sending or announcing the CD. My bad, it was me getting over involved in the set up of uni life. I'll email the winner in a short while :) If they still want the prize then it'll be sent their way!)
