Hey all
- assignments are driving me crazy. However breaking from our normal line of conversation. Feel free to send me messages on myspace. However if you do and your profile is set to private... I CANNOT reply unless you add me as a friend. I'm not ignoring you, and I've recieved a few rudish reply as I haven't replied. This is a restriction of myspace. I have to know your last name or email to add you. Why not make it easier and just add me?

As for the few who find me on facebook, I'm sorry but I only add people I know as I have private information up on the site. I generally need to of met you first before I add.
If you want to add me on myspace it's all cool and feel free to email me!

TORONTO, April 10 /CNW/ - Musicrypt Inc. (TSX-V: MCT, OTC: MCYPF), the
leader in secure digital media distribution, today announced that it has
successfully delivered the highly anticipated new single by the multi-platinum
selling band Linkin Park to radio stations across the United States. On Monday
morning April 2, 2007 at 7am ET, DMDS delivered the single "What I've Done"
simultaneously to hundreds of radio programmers. This exclusive, historic
delivery marks the first time that a major record label in the US has released
a significant new single entirely by digital means to radio thereby
eliminating the major expense of producing and shipping physical CDs. Today,
the song "What I've Done" debuts at No.1 on the BDS and Mediabase Alternative

Kerrang's M2M Track guide
Posted by
Energy on 04 Apr 2007 03:04 pm
Here's a step by step rundown of the tracks and what the band has to say about it. Thanks to my sucky ORC software not working at the moment, me and jaxxy have had to type this all out, so I hope you enjoy it :)
Wake
Mike: this is an intro track that starts the album - you can hear a needle going down on a record and I think it sets a tone for what's to come.
Given Up
Brad: We had a really bad song called 'Fire in the City' - the chorus actually had the words i'fire in the city' on it! Mike was the only person who liked it. Rather than just scrap the song, we mined it for any good parts.
Mike: It felt like Brad stole my car and ripped out the stereo!
Brad: I took the bassline and the drums and built weird sounds around it, which eventually became this song. Chester's screaming: 'What the f**k is wrong with me? Put me out of my f**king misery!' so without explaining exactly what the song is about, it's pretty clear he's not happy.

UK Street Team meet up
Posted by
Jon on 04 Apr 2007 09:54 am
Its that time of the year again guys. With the upcoming release of Minutes to Midnight, the UK Street Team will be organising a meet up in the next few weeks to completely promote in your area, get to meet the rest of the team and see who's who before the next set of shows start.
For those not familiar, it'll be a chance to meet Simon and I, aquaint yourselves with how to go about promoting Linkin Park and whether you'll have any friends who live near you that can help you out with promoting. We can have a meal and get to know each other. Then, if any of you're attending Download or any of LP's future shows, people will hopefully recognise each other and have some more company!
Either way, it'd be great to see you guys and if no-one comes, Simon and I will have to just hang out all afternoon... no loss for me either way :D
If you would like to contact us, please email either jon at runyc dot com, or simon at lpfuse dot co dot uk
Finally! LP.com no longer under construction!

Itunes - Preorder with secret super dooper bonus tracks
Posted by
Energy on 03 Apr 2007 03:52 pm

The above image gives us two things. First, a confirmation that there is an explicit and non-explicit version of the M2M album. Secondly there are some bsides going to be availble. Now I guess these will be on the collectors editions of the album. Only time will tell. Currently the preorder is only availble in the US. Along with other preorder systems like lp's season pass...
Also beginning Tuesday, April 3, you will be able to pre-order the album, and buy the video for "What I've Done." The pre-order offer includes a deluxe digital album with bonus tracks and a "Season Pass" including all 15 FULL LENGTH episodes of LPTV, the behind-the-scenes series documenting the last four years of the band. This offer is available in the U.S. only. Be sure to look out for more info.Considering the UK Itunes only just updated their list to include What I've done....

The Real Deal
Posted by
nkramar on 01 Apr 2007 02:58 pm
To help clear up some confusion, Derek from LPA has asked me to post this for him here. Please feel free to direct others here if you're hearing any 'rumors' about LPA:
Hey folks, this is the REAL Derek from The Linkin Park Association writing in to let you know, that the person who claimed to be me in the LPFUSE comments is a fraud and not the real me.
Never in our 5 year history has The Linkin Park Association ever illegally hosted an entire album, and we definitely did not do it this time around, and in all honesty nobody on staff even has the full album as of yet. We are simply just experiencing higher than normal traffic due to the news of What I've Done leaking (a leak we never hosted due to protecting copyright issues by the way) and because of this we are temporarily down until it gets resolved. Our technician is currently offline, and LPA shall be restored later this evening.
This is not an April Fools Joke, we were not shut down by Warner (since I am the primary contact for lpassociation.com I would be aware of this), and LPA's server simply just crashed.
Thank you for your patience and remember to never trust anyone claiming to be me in LPFUSE comments as I most likely would always contact LPFUSE first if I needed to make an announcement of that sort. Thank you.
Respectfully Yours,
(THE REAL) Derek Oswald
Administrator/Co-Owner
www.lpassociation.comnkramar says:
It appears that all is well once again in LPA-land as the server is back up. Resume your viewing of their site after you visit LPFuse first as usual.
What I've Done
Energy: Ok I'm cleaning this article up.
The Truth. Yes, someone ripped the single off the radio. No we will not be hosting it. Anyone caught posting a link in the comments (if you can get them to work!) will be banned from the site. Any news poster, posting any commercial material will be removed from the site permantly.
Like it or not, we're the ones who have to deal with an unhappy Warner Bros so we're showing no tollerance to people who post illegal material. Be a great fan and show your support on monday by going online and purchasing the digital single! It'll prove to LP that you're still wrapped up in their music and can't wait for the album.
Click Read more to view the lyics to the song to keep you tied over till monday.
