Do you want to book Linkin Park yourself? You can do so through this page... Obviously be prepared for a rejection but it'd be pretty strange having them at your wedding doing cover songs of classic cheese, amiright?

Concert downloads are back???

Purchasing tickets for one of the london shows via ticketmaster you are offered a LP digi souvenir pack. This confused me at first? Erm a few pictures of the show for £10 or something??? However read the description:

In keeping with the bands innovative stance they are offering you an exclusive souvenir digital tour package where you will receive:

A complete download of the show that you have just witnessed
A digital tour programme that is unique to this offer and unavailable elsewhere
Exclusive photos of the show that you attend

So while more expensive than the US digital recordings, this looks pretty cool.
Least the official bootleg drive is back *packs away his microphone*

I'm glad I checked my email this morning! LPU emailed to confirm the UK dates as:

Thu, 24 Jan
Nottingham Arena
UK

Fri, 25 Jan
Sheffield Arena
UK

Sun, 27 Jan
MEN Arena Manchester
UK

Mon, 28 Jan
The O2 London
UK

LPU presales begin at 9am tomorrow (November 7th) with the tickets going on general sale on Friday.

Personally I think it's an odd selection of venues, with Wales, Scotland, Ireland and also Birmingham ignored! But I'm not complaining! We're lucky in the UK that most things aren't too far away if we're determined to get there! I hope that there is a venue you can all reach! Should be an awesome tour! *is mega excited* laughing smile

Has anyone tried this?

Warning on the possible UK dates: londonticketshop

Jon mentioned the previous uk dates, there are already a few companies trying to capatilise on this by selling 'early' tickets. The main culprit of this is londonticketshop. A few fans have already purchased these over-priced tickets, that chances are they are non-exsistant. The company is well known to not provide you with the tickets you paid for!. This is not our view, feel free to search google to see what others have to say!

If you want to get real tickets, go to the LPU and get involved with their official presale, of course this will only happen when the dates are confirmed.

He has already recorded tracks with Akon, Linkin Park and Gwen Stefani, reports The Rap Up.

In the meantime, Timbaland is currently working on Keri Hilson's 'In A Perfect World', which is set for release next year.

Hilson featured on his 'The Way I Am' track.

Just a quickie. LPU has posted some European dates! (AT LAST!) Here they are:

Wed, 16 Jan
TUI Arena
Hannover, Germany

Thu, 17 Jan
Galaxie
Metz, France

Sun, 20 Jan
Festhalle
Frankfurt, Germany

Mon, 21 Jan
Koelnarena
Koln, Germany

Tue, 22 Jan
Bercy
Paris, France

If you are in the LPU there are presales happening tomorrow (November 1st) with the tickets going on general sale the day after.

Personally, I would love to go to the Bercy show...It's a brilliant venue with a great atmosphere but alas, it's a Tuesday which is so inconvenient for me!! More concerts on the weekend please!! Hopefully this is just the first of many European dates to be announced! laughing

According to hmv, the uk tracklisting of the Shadow of the Day single has been announced. We've gone back to the uninspired tracklist of the single version plus two live tracks.

1. Shadow Of The Day
2. No More Sorrow [Third Encore Session] (Availble on the MVI disc)
3. Bleed It Out [Llive From Projekt Revolution Tour] (We've probably already got this too!)

Release date: 12-11-2007

The single will be availble in the standard formats of a 7" (with NMS on) and a 2 track single.

Thanks to Colin Reid for a few bits of info.

File server moving... oh and a random video

Tonight our file server (being hosted by the wonderful Chris at Clear Carbon) will be moved. I'm not too sure how long this move will take so I apollogise in advanced. It should only take a few hours and then everything will be back as it was.

On another note; I know I shouldn't really post this on the main page, but as some of you noticed I didn't think the Shadow of the Day video worked. So me being me decided to remake it to a song that fitted much better. Let me know what you think!

Chester Broke His Freaking Wrist On Stage!

I heard about this a day or so ago but wasn't sure about posting it! Chester broke his wrist on Sunday during a concert in Melbourne. There is a video posted on the linkinparktv channel on youtube with backstage footage not long after he broke it (link).

I'll be honest with you lpfusers, I'm fairly squeemish! The video did make me feel sick although there is no footage of the actual incident! Chester a bone in his wrist and I have gone one better and broken both bones at my wrist and I tell you this honestly...it hurts like a bugger! How he managed to do the show is beyond me! I almost passed out watching the video because I remember how ridiculously painful it was! I seriously had to go lie down! I wish I had my x-ray though! You know it's bad when your doctor shows your x-ray to one of their colleagues and they go "Holy Sh*t!"

So Chester....You're amazing! We all love you! Take pain killers! <3 wassat

EDIT: Here's a clip of when he did it...HOW DID HE CARRY ON?!?!?!

Shadow of the Day Video

Click here to see the new Shadow of the Day video. As always post your thoughts in the comments.

I have to be honest, while I like the video, it's more of a distraction than a compliment to the song. The sound effects are over the top, and just where does the video fit to the song? It's almost like a dark version of From the Inside except not excuted quite as well.

There's probably some quite nice meanings behind the video, however I'm pretty nackered today. I loved the WiD video, but Bleed It Out and SotD haven't done much for me. All the meteora videos were amazing... what's happened here? I think to be honest that this video was designed with a different song in mind. Imagine this same video, but to No More Sorrow. That would work. That could be really cool.

Anyway thanks to Hahninator and Colin Reid for the link.

Busta Rhymes / Linkin Park collaboration

Linkin Park
Busta Rhymes has made a song with Linkin Park for his new album (due out in December). The song is called "It Looks Like We Made It".

I couldn't find any information about the collaboration other than it was produced by Cool and Dre and Busta says:

“It feels like Rocky won the fight or something, it reminds the people who are successful to go and help those that haven’t been so successful, and represent the unity between people. This song speaks volumes to the globe it ain’t just about the ‘hood, it ain’t just about the suburbs, it’s about everybody. This is one of those songs that can’t be described better than touching the souls of the common people.”

So that will be interesting! I have no idea how it's going to work! Will it be along the lines of LP/Jay-Z? If anyone has any more info about it contact us at lpfuse by using the submit news thing on the right ----->

Hey all, sorry we've been so quiet. I'm not sure about the rest of the staff, but for me this is down to university. I'm now in the 3rd year of my course and I've got a lot of work being thrown my way and also a lot of bills to pay. Looks like my final project for this course will be developing a game on the xbox360, but I've got lots of other geeky assignments going on. I'll do my best to keep you up-to-date and as seen Jon & Jaxxy seem to be back posting news :)

In the world of LP things are starting to prepare for the release of the Shadow of the Day single. We'll get you up to speed shortly. Sorry for the downtime.
